Beauty Trove Review: Soap & Glory Orangeasm

Hi Beautiful!  These past two weeks I have been using the Soap & Glory Orangeasm Body Butter.  I am a fan of Soap & Glory's The Righteous Butter and decided it try it out based on a monthly favorites vlog by Shaanxo.  The description on the website says that the new zesty formula is scented with green mandarins, Sicilian lemons and sweet orange peel oils.  The body butter is intensely moisturizing and invigorating.  The product is sold in a large red-orange container and includes 10.1 oz of body butter.  It retails at Ulta for $15.00.  My overall review is that I really love this product.  The container is solid and has a cute label on the front, which I appreciate.  Once you screw off the lid, you can smell the citrus laden scent.  It does smell like fresh oranges, which I really like.  If you are not a fan of citrus, oranges and lemons, you should not buy this.  It is an orange colored cream with darker orange beads inside (shea message butter balls).  I like using this in the morning, especially after a shower.  You just need to message a small quarter size amount into slightly damp skin.  It is super moisturizing and it works lovely on dry patches.  I also like it because it is a refreshing scent to get you started in the morning.  Ulta is having their 21 days of beauty so if you purchase the Orangeasm body butter, you can get a second one for 40% off.  There are other items in the Orangeasm scent, such as body wash, exfoliating body polish, and body spray.  I am planning on purchasing the exfoliating body polish and body spray.  Let me know if you tried this product and what you thought of it by commenting below!

Product Review - Mary Kay NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss in Sparkle Berry

Mary Kay Cosmetics is offering new and limited shades of their NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss Line.  Just looking at the new catalog, we could not resist trying out the
Mary Kary NouriShine Plus Lip Gloss in Sparkle Berry.  The NouriShine Gloss goes on super smooth and quenches dry lips.  The intense berry color provides ample coverage and can be worn without the need for reapplying for 8 hours.  Overall, we really liked the hue of the new limited edition.  It provides a great wine color with a little glitz (all thanks to the shimmer) that transitions well from winter into the spring.  We would also consider wearing this color in the Fall.  Sparkle Berry also pairs well with the new Pantone Summer color--Marsala.   This also goes well with a blue blouse, particularly turquoise.  For those who may be a little color shy, you can either apply half the amount of Sparkle Berry to your lips or blot some of the excess away.   Sparkle Berry is available online or thorough your Mary Kay consultant for $14.00 (0.15 fl oz).

Product Review - Fresh Effects Dew Over

One product we never skimp on is face cream.  During the winter months, the harsh weather will dry your face and may even cause it to look cracked.  Cream helps to lock in the moisture and everyone should have a go to day and night cream.  Recently, we tried out Olay's fresh effects {Dew Over} as a day cream.  Opening up the jar, the green cream smells fantastic like a combination of your favorite soap and sweet cucumber.  The cream feels more like a gel but it goes on fairly smooth and is rapidly absorbed into the skin. Unlike heavier creams that should be used at night, this one is nice and light and does not have an oily film.  Great to wear in the morning under makeup or it can be used alongside a day serum. We've used this product for a month and noticed that our skin remained hydrated throughout the day.   Drugstore sells Olay's fresh effects {Dew Over}for $14.99 (currently on sale for $11.99) so the pricing is really good compared with other day creams.  Overall, we really liked this product and will continue using it throughout the winter months.  We give it a Beauty Trove rating of 5/5.
